Season's Greetings - Welcome to The Bimini Blog!

First and foremost, allow me to say THANK YOU! In the current climate and state of the country we at Bimini Bay are so thankful to all who have spent time on our site and an extra thanks to all who have made purchases. We are constantly improving the site and adding product daily. We appreciate everyone's patience as we work through the growing pains associated with a new ecommerce site. In 2022 expect a full catalog of tackle as well as special limited release apparel from Bimini Bay, expanded content including videos, and even a podcast! Exciting things to come to say the least.

This blog is one of the new site features we are rolling out this holiday season. You can expect an eclectic mix of fishing reports, new product reviews, guest blogs from industry leaders, influencers and charter captains, and even interviews with some of the sharpest minds in our space. Craving some different content? Leave a comment with what you would like to see. This is your opportunity to have some say in what you consume!

OK lets get to the meat of this first blog- This one is a smorgasbord of the best bites on the East coast right now. While many are settling in for the long winters nap here in the northeast, the bluefins have been been sticking around and eager to bite Tsunami Surface Blaster Poppers and Tsunami Surface Striker Glide Baits. If you are thinking about taking a ride for these fish, remember it is DECEMBER! Safety gear should be redundant. This has been in reach of the center console fleet so please be safe and know your limits.

Down to the Carolinas, the wahoo have moved in thick! Double digit days, while not the norm, are happening more often than not right now. The Maxel Oceanic 50WS Reels are a great option as the capacity and two speed gearing are perfect. The size 80WCS are great for the bluefin bite that is nothing short of red hot off Morehead City

It's snowing in Connecticut as I write this, but my social feed has been blowing up with giant AJ's being caught in Florida. Tsunami and Bimini Bay brand Ambassador Joey Antonelli has been playing with our new Carbon Shield II Jigging rods and beating up on monster reef donkeys like the one in our cover Photo.

So with the first blog in the books, please feel free to share your your recent catches and reports. Maybe some pictures with a Tsunami or Maxel product if you have one. Never know, we may reach out and send you a swag bag full of gear. Our way of saying Happy Holidays this season!
