Hi, the rod is great. However, I'll be returning it and Ill explaing why... I ended up buying the rod because Bimini customer service was kind enough to say they were sending me a replacement for my SaltX 4000, which has had constant issues since I bought it. In the email exchange with customer service they offered to pair a rod with it, which i basically bought to show appreciation for the generous offer to replace the reel. I've now had the rod, which I paid for, for several weeks but the reel never showed up. I've sent a bunch of unreturned emails asking about the status of the replacement reel and left a voicemail at the Folsom office which hasn't been returned. I'll be calling on Monday to arrange to return the rod and be credited back. This unfortunately went from seemingly great customer service from Bimini to a pretty lame experience.
